The Dark Dungeons of Castle Tract

The beginning of this month starts with Dave Arneson's birthday, and I wish I could say I spent the weekend chucking dice, grid mapping, and puzzle solving. Seeing as I am in between campaigns, and wishing to take a break from Pathfinder, I've decided to start an old school campaign. I am startng my own megedungeon site, a kitchen sink for use with Labyrinth Lord and Dark Dungeons. The campaign is going to include a lot of gonzo ideas and 80's pop culture references.

"At the edge of the civilized world lie a circle of paired menhirs and solitary dolmens, this megalithic site stretches over twenty miles across. The site is know as the Ring of Doors, and between these long stones and from the depths of the burial chambers come strangers from strange lands and unknown times. Others wake from long sleeps in the fae forests nearby. They gather at the exotic city of Fantasyholm, which sits in the middle of the Ring of Doors. Some of these strangers are adventures and treasure-seekers, others are merchants and pilgrims. One never knows who they might rub elbows with while walking the streets of Fantasyholm. And from a rising hill, overlooking the city is the ruins of Castle Tract, where ancient magic and treasure lies in its depths for those who are brave enough to take it."
